Window to Heaven ...

window
It was all cloudy, but the sky was still beautifully colored. What caught my attention was this cloudless spot in the sky as if it was a window to Heaven from which the angels were watching us..

Rabbits...

rabbits

I was taking photos of the Sakakini Palace when I met these cute rabbits! Their owners were so kind to let me take photos both of the rabbits and them!
I have nothing to say.. I just find them cute.. i hate the way they grab them from the ears though.. We used to grab mice the same way in the lab.

Taken from the 6th of October bridge..
As you can see my camera is not professional and the shutter speed is not adjustable.. but that itself creates remarkable effects!

METRO
Sometimes it seems poetic, don't you think??

Book Fair!

Sour El Azbakeya
MA3RAD
This is where they sell the old books in the book fair. It is named after "Sour El Azbakeya" (El Azbakeya fence or wall), that is where the old books market is located in Cairo. Prices range from 1 to 3 pounds for arabic books, 5-10 for books in a foreign language, 20-40 for dictionaries and more than 60 for valuable books..
It's a book worm's heaven :-))
